Ben Greenzweig : Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Benjamin Greenzweig is a leading events, consulting and business development professional whose experience includes more than 18 years working with media, technology, retail, consumer goods, energy, food & beverage, banking, defense, government and professional services executives across the globe. In 2012, Mr. Greenzweig co-founded and became Co-CEO of Momentum Consulting and Momentum Events alongside Matt Godson and has gone on to launch dozens of industry-changing conferences including the Blockchain Opportunity Summit, VRevolution, The Big Natural, AIevolution and the Retail CXO Summit.
Momentum is proud to be in alliance with many leading media, academic and trade associations including the Wharton School’s Knowledge@Wharton, Lauder Institute, Baker Retailing Center, CNBC, Pivot, Loyola University Quinlan School of Business, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), the Natural Products Association (NPA) and Fortune Magazine – among others.
Ben made his first sale when he was 5, has run two half marathons, is a long-suffering Mets fan which he is convinced only breeds strong character and unwavering resolve, got engaged on the stage of a country music concert, is originally from the New York City area and currently resides in Westchester County with his wife Casey, his three children, Max, Molly & Shea and his loyal family dog, Elvis.
Misha Shah : Vice President, Customer Strategy & Insights
Misha Shah is the Vice President of Customer Strategy & Innovation at Momentum. Misha joined the Momentum team in March 2013 as the Senior Marketing Manager. Misha brings 7+ years of event marketing experience along with an Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Her marketing expertise coupled with her outgoing personality and leadership skills drives the companies customer strategy forward. At Momentum, Misha oversees the Marketing team but also manages acquisition and retention of new customers and clients. She has strategic input in the day-to-day operations of the business but also never takes her forward thinking glasses off. Her marketing expertise includes: lead generation, retention and acquisition, relationship management, project management and more!
Misha is a native of Livingston, New Jersey where she was born and raised but now lives with her husband Will and rambunctious Rottweiler Lance, in Champaign, Illinois.
Marnina Edelhart, Vice President, Content & Engagement
Marnina (“Marni”) Edelhart is Vice President of Content & Engagement at Momentum Events. Marni joined the Momentum team as Director of Content & Experience in the spring of 2015. After 7+ years of producing events that explore the intersections of business and technology, Marni has developed the cross-industry, multi-vertical relationships that foster exciting conversations and inspire innovation.
In developing each new project, Marni connects with and learns from the brightest minds shaping what’s next for creative business leaders. The knowledge gleaned over years of such interactions has led to successful events that address topics ranging from Social Engagement to Digital Transformation to Retail/CPG Collaboration to Marketing Analytics to Blockchain and beyond. Marni not only recruits the speakers and writes the programs for this wide range of events, but also oversees the year round engagement of the valued Momentum Community. If you have the chance to meet Marni at an event, don’t hesitate to share new ideas, she’s always looking for what’s coming around the bend.When not working on an event, Marni can be found in the woods or along the beaches of the Pacific Northwest where she lives in Seattle with her four dogs Sonic, Mackenzie, Piper and Gus.
In Memory Of Matt Godson, Co-Founder
In 2012 Matt left the American Conference Institute to launch Momentum Consulting and Momentum Events.
Born in London, Matt Godson studied Economics at Manchester University before joining Baker Tilly Accountants. Matt joined the Events Team at the Business Design Centre in London in 1994 launching, leading and supporting several high-profile conference and exhibitions including IDW, ART, and London Music Week.
In 1997 Matt joined the London Telecoms event team at the Institute for International Research producing more than 120 annual events globally in the Telecoms, Technology and Broadcasting sectors. Transferring to the New York offices of IIR in late 2000 and promoted to Regional Marketing Director, Matt launched IIRs Large Scale Event initiative with the highly successful Pharmaceutical Marketing Congress, CRM Focus, Design and Culture, Prepaid Markets Expo, In Building, CDMA World Congress and many more.
In 2004 Matt joined the American Conference Institute as Head of Marketing and assumed responsibility for the US and European Marketing Operations in 2007. Matt was an accomplished trainer and public speaker having presented at industry conferences in the US, UK and Europe.
On July 31 2017, Matt passed away after a quick battle with gliomatosis cerebri, an extremely rare brain cancer. He was one day shy of his 45th birthday. Matt is survived by his wife, fashion designer Emily Shalant and his sons Charlie & Giles.
A beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend and partner, his legacy will live on, preserved by the countless lives he touched, the people he made better, the ideas he created and the vision that helped form Momentum.
