In the past, there have been conferences solely devoted to centralized monitoring but they have all but disappeared in recent years. Generalized risk based monitoring conferences have taken over and often only feature centralized monitoring in one or two sessions. Centralized Monitoring conferences lost a space of their own. This has caused stagnation in the field and a lack of movement and adoption of the monitoring process that should be used for most clinical trials based on cost effectiveness, data accuracy, and ease of data collection.
The goal of this virtual summit is to provide an international space to define centralized monitoring, share best practices, and network with like-minded professionals to move the needle forward in the clinical centralized monitoring space.
