Angela Ebel has over Twenty years of experience in clinical research and finance operations.  Her career began in Oncology began with Physician Reliance Network/Texas Oncology in 1998 as a member of the Regulatory Department.  She transitioned into the Gene Therapy Group of PRN in the fall of 1998 as Project Manager and eventually Program Director of the Gene Therapy group for Texas Oncology, the predecessor of the US Oncology research group.  Starting as the Finance Manager at Mary Crowley Cancer Research in 2004, she dedicated herself to assessing the cost of performing clinical trials and negotiating budgets with pharmaceutical sponsors. She led the development of clinical trial budgets for early phase biologic studies and successful negotiation with more than 300 large pharma and small biotech companies for more than 800 early phase clinical protocols for Mary Crowley, Texas Oncology, and other Research Centers.  Moving into the Vice President of Research Operations role in 2017, she oversees Project Management, Data Management, Study Development, Quality Assurance, and Finance, as it relates to their areas of responsibility within the organization.  Building ongoing relationships with pharma and biotech companies, she works to ensure that the operational goals are met. Working with the Executive Management Team, Executive Medical Director, and Chief Executive Officer she assists in planning for growth and further development of the program.

Angela’s expertise includes negotiations, protocol review and budget development for early-phase cancer gene therapy and immunology studies under Institutional Bio-safety Review, including sourcing and pricing complex molecular assessments, tissue-based procedures, and laboratory processing. She has experience in developing relationships with physician providers and community oncology practice administrators.
