Victor Chan Bio

Victor has over 20 years of medical device experience in sales & marketing leadership, commercial execution, and product launch.  Victor currently serves as VP of Marketing at Body Vision Medical where he leads all corporate marketing and marketing communications endeavors.

Before joining Body Vision, Victor led commercial strategy and held P & L responsibilities for Santen’s US surgical device franchise as Head of U.S. Surgical Marketing & Sales. Prior to Santen, Victor spent 7 years with Carl Zeiss Meditec where he led Carl Zeiss’ U.S. Refractive Business Unit with sales, marketing, clinical applications, practice development, service and P&L responsibilities as well as successfully helming 6 of Carl Zeiss’ “blockbuster” product launches into the ENT, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and optometry verticals.  Prior to Carl Zeiss, Victor served in marketing leadership positions at iRise, a start-up enterprise software company where he was able to grow revenue by 50% during his tenure and at Accuray Incorporated where he was part of the initial team that pioneered SBRT treatment of cancer with the commercialization of the CyberKnife® radiosurgery system and took the company from start-up to initial public offering (IPO).

Victor earned his B.A. in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley and then went on to earn his M.S. in neuroscience and MBA in marketing and technology management from the University of California at Davis.
