Often a Content Strategy is implemented and short-term engagement success is realized, but not sustained. The root causes for this poor experience are sitting in front of us. We need to step back and take a holistic view of the content landscape; and then connect the dots, assemble a solid case for change, pursue leadership commitment and secure investment.

  • Connect the dots – Key elements of a CSF and where Content Strategy fits
  • The shiny penny syndrome – Lessons learned in what to avoid
  • Make a solid case – Convincing leadership and stakeholders of the CFS’ value

A lot is being said about treating patients as consumers as we need to acknowledge that there are several concerns about how we look at consumerism in health care. After all, health care does not have the same infrastructure as other industries as there is a perception of lack of pricing transparency or a lack of power and choice.

In this keynote lecture we will cover the challenges we need to be aware of as patients are consumers of health care not by choice. They seek it only when something is wrong and want to go back to normal. Even then, they may lack access to all the tools to absorb technical information and make difficult decisions that require specialized expertise and are often not independent decision makers.

Using this distinction, this lecture covers possible ways to design effective patient experiences.
