Ben Greenzweig : Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
After a distinguished career defined by consistently driving growth and exceeding revenue targets at IIR Informa (now KNect365), The Economist and American Conference Institute, Mr. Greenzweig launched and co-founded Momentum Consulting and Momentum Events in 2012 where he is currently the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
In 2018 Momentum debuted its new company mantra, the “What’s Next Event CompanyTM”, that helped further solidify its mission to relentlessly pursue future trends impacting the industries and professions that move markets.
Momentum currently develops content and events in the areas of Enterprise Technology, Legal & Regulatory and in a partnership capacity with organizations including the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), The Wharton School of Business, Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University and Entrepreneur Magazine.
Ben made his first sale when he was 5, has run two half marathons, is a long-suffering Mets fan which he is convinced only breeds strong character and unwavering resolve, got engaged on the stage of a country music concert, is originally from the New York City area and currently resides in Westchester County with his wife Casey, his three children, Max, Molly & Shea and loyal family dog, Shelby.
Bryon Main : Chief Operating Officer & Co-Principal
Mr. Main is the former CEO and Co-Founder of ExL Events, and currently serves as a special advisor to the company. ExL is an industry leader in developing innovative, educational conferences, seminars, and training courses to life sciences executives. ExL Events helps life sciences professionals understand and embrace the latest tools and strategies allowing them to improve access to life saving and life enhancing therapies. After leading and growing ExL over 14 years, they were acquired by Questex Events in June 2016.

Warren Drysdale, Vice President, Content
Warren Drysdale is the Vice President of content at Momentum Health, a Division of Momentum Events. Momentum Health is dedicated to transforming healthcare events for our customers, and providing them with a platform for success as the sector undergoes continuous evolution.
Warren has over 15 years of experience in the B2B event industry covering sectors such as Capital Markets and Finance, Energy, Languages – and for the last 10 years – Healthcare. Over this time period he has specialized in market research, content development, strategic partnership building, CRM, speaker acquisition, pharmaceutical HQ venue negotiations, marketing strategy, advisory board management.
Warren’s passion is creating a community, and long term relationships around the events he develops so that there is year round engagement of all stakeholders across the pharmaceutical value chain.
Marnina Edelhart, Vice President, Content & Engagement
In developing each new project, Marni connects with and learns from the brightest minds shaping what’s next for creative business leaders. The knowledge gleaned over years of such interactions has led to successful events that address topics ranging from Social Engagement to Digital Transformation to Retail/CPG Collaboration to Marketing Analytics to Blockchain and beyond. Marni not only recruits the speakers and writes the programs for this wide range of events, but also oversees the year round engagement of the valued Momentum Community. Shari Gelfand, Vice President, Marketing
Shari is an accomplished marketing leader with 20+ years of experience in the B2B event industry. Her passion in marketing began at the Institute for International Research, then ExL Events, and now continues at Momentum. Expert in multi-channel marketing for live and virtual events, Shari also excels at creative development, project management, search, website and data strategy. She loves spending time with her family and traveling in her spare time.
Jayson Mercado, Vice President, Strategy
Jayson Mercado is the Vice President, Strategy at Momentum Events, where he oversees Momentum Health, a division of the company dedicated to fulfilling the marketing and learning needs of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Healthcare industries.
Prior to joining Momentum Health, Jayson was the Vice President of Partnerships at Saltoun Capital Partners, a private equity company pursuing new investments across a range of industries. Before that, Jayson was Managing Director, Digital at Questex Media Group in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare space. In this role he oversaw the Digital Pharma series of events which include the global Digital Pharma series (East, West, Europe, LatAm, Japan and China), in addition to the Digital Marketing for Medical Devices series of conferences. In this role, Jayson secured and managed all sponsor and partner relationships, oversaw new topic generation, speaker recruitment and agenda development, as well as collaborated with internal and external teams on marketing initiatives that drove year-over-year growth for the event portfolio and the company as a whole.
Born and raised in New York City, but now living in Phoenix, Jayson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Boston University. Jayson is passionate about leveraging his people skills and large network of contacts to help create beneficial collaborations for both Momentum and our partner companies alike.
In Memory Of Matt Godson, Co-Founder
Born in London, Matt Godson studied Economics at Manchester University before joining Baker Tilly Accountants. Matt joined the Events Team at the Business Design Centre in London in 1994 launching, leading and supporting several high-profile conference and exhibitions including IDW, ART, and London Music Week.
In 1997 Matt joined the London Telecoms event team at the Institute for International Research producing more than 120 annual events globally in the Telecoms, Technology and Broadcasting sectors. Transferring to the New York offices of IIR in late 2000 and promoted to Regional Marketing Director, Matt launched IIRs Large Scale Event initiative with the highly successful Pharmaceutical Marketing Congress, CRM Focus, Design and Culture, Prepaid Markets Expo, In Building, CDMA World Congress and many more.
In 2004 Matt joined the American Conference Institute as Head of Marketing and assumed responsibility for the US and European Marketing Operations in 2007. Matt was an accomplished trainer and public speaker having presented at industry conferences in the US, UK and Europe.
On July 31 2017, Matt passed away after a quick battle with gliomatosis cerebri, an extremely rare brain cancer. He was one day shy of his 45th birthday. Matt is survived by his wife, fashion designer Emily Shalant and his sons Charlie & Giles.
A beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend and partner, his legacy will live on, preserved by the countless lives he touched, the people he made better, the ideas he created and the vision that helped form Momentum.
